Wake Forest may be the best team in the ACC. They beat NC State and only lost to Virginia by three points. Wake also pulled off an upset win at Boston College to start the season and lost a close game to a very good Purdue team. Third year Coach Jim Grobe has done a great job, first year QB Randolph has completed 58.3% of his passes and has shown great mobility. The Demon Deacons head into this game at 3-2 overall and 1-1 in ACC play. The Yellow Jackets are playing with true freshman QB Ball who is 1-2 on the Road. Ball has been sacked 17 times in the last 4 games and has thrown 4 picks and one touchdown in his last three road games. I like Wake Forest to win by at least a touchdown; their coming off a week of rest and this is their homecoming. The host in the G. Tech series is 7-1 ATS, Wake is 8-0 ATS after playing Virginia.

Clemson Head Coach Tommy Bowden could be in his last season here. He did a great job at Tulane but his teams havent been getting it done as of late. But His Tigers have been playing good defense lately, in two ACC games this year they allowed only 291 yards of offense. Clemson travels to NC State following this game so this game is a must win. Virginia will be playing their second set of BB road games this year. The Cavs were 0-2 ATS in this situation last year and are a poor 1-8 ATS after North Carolina. The Cavaliers may be looking past this game with Fla. ST. on deck. Clemson is 27-3-1 straight up since 1971 in homecoming games. The dog in the Virginia series is 11-2 ATS.
